JIM SYKORA
MANAGING PARTNER
Jim partnered with Larry Johannes to build a company that redefines the agency model for clients competing in the age of content. That includes doing away with departmental boundaries to encourage deeper thinking, seamless production and more engaging creative.
Jim spent the last decade as Executive Creative Director at Moroch, where he won major awards for McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, rebranded the Travel Channel, relaunched the National Osteoporosis Foundation and helped move Citracal from the number four calcium brand to number one. Prior to that, Jim owned his own agency, Coffee/Black Advertising, where his clients included 7-Eleven, Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse, DFW International Airport, Foresthills Hotels & Resorts and Uniden Electronics. He also co-created and launched Buzz Public Relations and WideEye Interactive.
Jim is a member of Adweek’s Creative Allstars. His work has been honored with an Emmy nomination, a Cannes International Film Festival Award, multiple gold Addy Awards including Best of Show, and appearances in the One Show and CA Magazine.
He is also active in charitable and philanthropic endeavors and is a past board member of The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
LARRY JOHANNES

Larry has developed award-winning creative for a diverse range of automotive, consumer electronics, durable consumer goods, telecom and healthcare clients. His experience and unique client-side perspectives ensure that JSG provides creative ideas that aren’t just engaging but also deliver measurable marketing results.
Larry began his career in Chicago as advertising director for FMC Corporation. He then went on to help Uniden Corporation become a global leader in consumer electronics. There, he and his marketing teams helped achieve #1 market share in three different CE categories as corporate revenue increased by over 600%.
Most recently, Larry served as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing for TTI Mouser, now one of the world’s largest resources for semiconductors and electronic components. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Siemens.
Larry has also developed successful sports marketing partnerships for brands like Harley Davidson, NASCAR, IndyCar, Golden Bear, Trek Bicycles, Livestrong, Susan G. Komen, Duracell and the US Air Force. In 2013, Larry’s partnership with CoPilott Motorsports and KV Racing Technology led to sports marketing gold, a win at the Indianapolis 500 with Tony Kanaan behind the wheel.
